Prototype demonstrating Physically Based Shading


This is a prototype I made for the week of September 14th, 2014 using Unreal Engine 4.

Most of the week I spent time in Blender and Photoshop making the pump. I wanted to make something that looks better than what I normally make to see how long it will take to make things look good. This ended up eating up most of my time.

I was really happy with the way the physically based shading worked via the scratches on the plastic. It came out better than I imagined. So even though there’s no fanfare with the gameplay components, I’m happy with how it looks for now.
